Welcome to the Queensland Baseball Scorers (QBS) web pages. Baseball is a wonderful game, a game of skill and daring, excitement and thrills galore. To record the action on paper and then convert that record into meaningful numbers is the skill of scoring baseball. Yes, baseball is a game of numbers and to be able to provide a Coach, Player, Media or Fan with an accurate record of the event  should be the aim of every person who tries to score the game. Whether you score youth games (Under 12 etc...) or for your State, after a game is finished there are very few participants who do not enjoy seeing the results of that game in those important numbers - batting, slugging, fielding averages, for the pitchers earned run average (ERA) - the statistics a scorer can provide from a baseball game is unbelievable. Especially if you do it right!

We hear persons regulary saying 'but I can't enjoy watching my child (husband) play if I have to score'. No-one can enjoy any activity if they do not understand what they are doing. Yes, baseball scoring looks complicated, however let us teach you how to do it properly and you will then enjoy scoring, the chore will disappear and the fun will begin.
